Worked to promote transparency and improve relations between police and neighbors, including adopting a body-camera policy and advocating for a mutual accountability board.
Successfully advocated for pedestrian, cyclist, and school-zone safety along streets such as McCart, Hulen, Sycamore School Road, and Harris Parkway.
Expanded funding for the crossguard program to cover all Fort Worth elementary and middle schools, including public charter schools.
Prioritized funding for traffic control to reduce the risks of accidents along roads with high-incidences of injuries including Risinger, McCart, Altamesa, Hulen, Brewer Road, and West Cleburne Road.
Ensured investments in road improvements that led to nearly 100 road projects to improve 17.2 linear miles of roads across District 6 and supported additional funding in the FY23 Budget for street maintenance and markings.
Supported additional Code Compliance positions to help regulate high-density multifamily rental properties across the city.
Ensured expanded access to COVID testing and vaccinations for all Fort Worth residents.
